Expertise
Over a 10 year period, a diverse portfolio of projects have been delivered in architecture and interiors. Sofie has worked on Boutique Luxury Housing (such as the Talley Valley Estate, Courtyard House), Hotel Accommodation (e.g. The Glen Hotel), Bespoke Hospitality (for example Wynnum Manly Hotel, Beenleigh Rum Museum), Retail + Café Fit-Outs, Major Retail re-developments (Palm Beach Pavilions, Orange City Centre), just to name a few.
More recently, she has delivered a $15M+ Affordable Housing project 'Arbor Sherwood' (Client - BHC whilst at Peddle Thorp). This won the UDIA Award for Design Excellence in 2021. She has also worked across other Integrated Living projects for Tier One clients in Australia.
For 5+ years she was the Design + Project Lead on variety of mixed developments for a major Australian Architecture firm with accumulative project values in excess of $100 million AUD.
Sofie has also spent this time in the architecture industry growing her private portfolio. She helps clients develop their dream houses at the right price, delivering high ROI investment properties with her business acumen, and designing boutique short term accommodation to maximise positive gearing & multiple revenue streams (see Wanderers Willow Chalet, Midnights in Morocco & Rahasia Rainforest Retreat).
Her clients are diverse and have included Business Owners, Developers, Builders, Private Clients, Community Housing Groups, local and state Government.

I perform my best when given the opportunity to draw upon my diversity and apply it to accomplish exceptional outcomes. From planning and strategy to the early stages of concept and design. My diverse background, education, history and experience affords me the ability to work seamlessly across many disciplines, cultures, which may be traditionally siloed.
Backstory
For many years I wanted to start a design business. A place where unique, novel, and/or creative design solutions are crafted to meet a specific set of requirements by drawing upon varied areas of design, culture, philosophy and art to formulate the best outcome.
In formulating my business, I drew inspiration from many professional and personal experiences, contexts, areas, locations, and disciplines such as Design, Art, Fashion and Business, along with my love for Travel to Foreign Places.
The outcome is Haus of Creations and a Kaleidoscope of Services that ultimately continues to transform day by day.

With a love and fascination for developing unique and innovative solutions Sofie combines aesthetics, styles, utility, and function to create a design solution.
Her natural ability to strategise combines with her diverse experience across many industries, specifically the design, architecture, and entertainment industries give her the unique ability to create solutions across multiple domains & disciplines. A team player at heart, she brings people together to pursue a shared vision to achieve what was previously thought impossible. There's always an easier way to get results but you have to be willing to approach a project from a different angle or perspective.
The design of environments fascinates me. Having been exposed to vastly different methods, methodologies and disciplines I have developed and honed a diverse toolkit. She is a confident professional who gets the job done, every time. |
